ASME CCOEW Students Explore Advanced CAE Simulation with ELENO!

The ASME Cummins Student Section at Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Karvenagar, successfully conducted a 2-day hands-on workshop on Advanced CAE Simulation in collaboration with ELENO.

The workshop provided students from Mechanical, Instrumentation, ENTC, and other engineering departments with practical exposure to industry-relevant simulation techniques and workflows.

๐Ÿ”น Day 1: Fundamentals of CAE Simulation

  • Fundamentals of EV crash analysis and vehicle safety

  • Introduction to Finite Element Method (FEM)

  • Material behaviour and impact dynamics

  • Crashworthiness concepts and safety standards

  • Introduction to simulation workflows using ANSYS LS-DYNA

๐Ÿ”น Day 2: Hands-on Simulation Practice

  • Geometry setup, meshing, and boundary conditions

  • Material modelling and contact definitions in LS-DYNA

  • Setting up and running crash simulations

  • Post-processing and interpreting simulation results

  • Understanding deformation, stress, and energy absorption

The sessions were guided by Mr. Nachiket Phadke, CAE Expert and Co-founder of ELENO, along with his team, who supported participants throughout the workshop and helped them understand practical simulation workflows.

๐Ÿ’ก Through this initiative, students gained valuable insights into how CAE simulation connects engineering theory with real-world applications in automotive safety, crashworthiness, and product development.

A sincere thank you to the ASME CCOEW team, the faculty coordinators, and all participating students for making this workshop a successful learning experience.

At ELENO, we believe in empowering future engineers through practical learning, industry exposure, and advanced simulation skills.
